These class descriptions provide a comprehensive overview of how each subject is taught at Faithful Learning Center, emphasizing the integration of biblical principles, hands-on learning, and a personalized approach to education.

01

Bible Study Class

At Faithful Learning Center, Bible Study is the cornerstone of our curriculum, deeply integrated into every aspect of our educational approach. Using the Charlotte Mason method, we emphasize narration and reflection, encouraging students to internalize and articulate the teachings of Scripture. Our Bible Study program covers key stories, principles, and doctrines from the Old and New Testaments, helping students build a solid foundation of faith.
Students are taught to connect biblical teachings with their everyday lives, understanding how the Word of God guides their actions, thoughts, and decisions. We also explore how biblical history aligns with world history, reinforcing the belief that the Bible is the ultimate authority in all areas of life. Our goal is to disciple students to know, love, and follow Jesus Christ, equipping them to live out their faith with confidence and conviction.

02

Math Class

At Faithful Learning Center, our Math curriculum is grounded in a blend of Montessori, Kumon, and Romanian educational approaches. We focus on hands-on learning with Montessori manipulatives to help students understand foundational concepts, such as numbers, operations, and geometry. As students progress, we introduce more advanced topics like multiplication, division, fractions, and problem-solving strategies through the rigorous Kumon method and Romanian mathematical principles.
Students learn at their own pace, with a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:6-8, ensuring personalized instruction and mentoring. Older students have opportunities to explain concepts to younger peers, fostering confidence and reinforcing their understanding. Our goal is to develop strong mathematical thinkers who are equipped to approach problems logically and creatively.

03

Science Class

Faithful Learning Center's Science curriculum integrates Montessori principles with a biblical perspective, ensuring that students explore scientific concepts in a hands-on, inquiry-based environment. We cover a wide range of topics, including biology, chemistry, physics, and earth sciences, with an emphasis on understanding the natural world as God's creation.
Starting from simple observations and experiments, students gradually move into more complex scientific theories and phenomena. We teach all scientific theories related to the universe, including those that differ from the biblical worldview, but we always present these theories through the lens of Scripture, helping students understand how science relates to the Word of God. Projects are completed under teacher supervision, ensuring that learning is both comprehensive and manageable for students and their families.

04

Language Arts Class

In our Language Arts program at Faithful Learning Center, we combine the Charlotte Mason philosophy with Montessori sensory methods and Romanian approaches to language and text analysis. Early learners start with phonics, letter tracing, and sound blending, using Montessori materials like sandpaper letters and Romanian workbooks to develop fine motor skills and early literacy.
As students progress, they engage with increasingly complex texts, focusing on vocabulary, comprehension, grammar, and composition. From 2nd grade onward, we introduce literary analysis, essay writing, and advanced sight words, using Kumon and Evan-Moor resources. By incorporating narration, dictation, and creative writing, we encourage students to express themselves clearly and confidently while reinforcing their understanding of language structures.

05

Social Studies

Our Social Studies curriculum at Faithful Learning Center is rooted in a biblical worldview, integrating Charlotte Mason's narration techniques with Waldorf-inspired creative projects. We study history, geography, and civics, beginning with biblical history and its connections to world events.
Students explore historical periods, geographical concepts, and cultural studies through hands-on activities, maps, and projects. As they progress, we align their studies with scientific discoveries of the corresponding eras, helping them understand the relationship between history, science, and the Bible. Our approach emphasizes the importance of understanding the past to make informed, faith-based decisions in the present.
In Social Studies, students learn to view the world through a biblical lens, gaining a deep appreciation for God's hand in history and His plan for humanity.

06

Arts and Crafts Class

Arts and Crafts at Faithful Learning Center are inspired by the Waldorf approach, with a strong influence from Charlotte Mason’s emphasis on beauty and creativity. Students engage in a variety of artistic activities, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and handicrafts, all designed to develop their fine motor skills, creativity, and appreciation for the arts.
Projects often tie into other areas of study, such as history, literature, and nature, allowing students to express what they have learned in creative and tangible ways. Through these activities, students not only explore their artistic talents but also develop patience, focus, and a sense of accomplishment. We also introduce elements of architecture and innovation, encouraging students to think creatively about design and function.

07

Music Class

Music at Faithful Learning Center is an integral part of our curriculum, inspired by Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of cultivating an appreciation for beauty and creativity. Students are introduced to a variety of musical styles and instruments, learning both the theory and practice of music. We incorporate singing, rhythm exercises, and instrument play, along with studies of classical composers and their works.
Music is also connected to other areas of learning, such as history and literature, allowing students to explore the cultural and historical significance of music. Through our music program, students develop not only their musical abilities but also discipline, concentration, and a deeper appreciation for the role of music in worship and daily life.

08

Physical Education (PE) class

Physical Education at Faithful Learning Center is designed to promote physical health, teamwork, and self-discipline. We believe that caring for the body is an important aspect of honoring God, and our PE program reflects this belief. Students participate in a variety of physical activities, including sports, games, and exercises that build strength, coordination, and endurance.
Our program emphasizes the importance of good sportsmanship, respect for others, and the development of lifelong healthy habits. We also incorporate elements of teamwork and leadership, helping students to work together towards common goals. Through PE, students learn the value of physical fitness and the joy of active play.

09

Optional French class

The optional French class at Faithful Learning Center offers students the opportunity to explore a new language and culture, enhancing their global awareness and communication skills. This class is designed to introduce students to the basics of the French language, including vocabulary, grammar, and conversational phrases. Using interactive methods such as songs, games, and storytelling, students engage with the language in a fun and meaningful way.

Cultural exploration is a key component of the class, where students learn about French-speaking countries, their traditions, and customs. By participating in this class, students not only gain linguistic skills but also develop an appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of the Francophone world. The class is tailored to each student's learning pace, ensuring that language acquisition is both enjoyable and effective.
